DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY DI UIAM DAN PILIHAN BIDANG KERJAYA UNTUK PELAJAR PSYCHOLOGY

 HI, It's been a long time tak visit my blog (sedangkan baru sebulan) HAHAHA. But serius rasa lama gila. Lately, I have been so busy dengan intern. But my intern is really like a real life job. Hmm nak ceritaaaa kat korang.. but maybe later kot, i will tell the story in another post.

So for this post, I akan share pasal Degree in Psychology. Fuhh. Macam mana eh nak mula. Baru last 2 week kot i got my final result so that's mean the end of my degree life 👀 The end for me already hahaha but maybe a  fresh start for all of you. So here we go..

Apabila I mula-mula masuk asasi human sciences kan, I always aim to go for Psychology. Psychology is the famous course hahaha even bukan budak HS pun memang ramai nak join Psychology.

 Most of my friends pilih counselling jugak, but counselling is another kuliyyah which is education and every education courses akan ada interview. But, I tak isi for that sebab i tak nampak diri i as a teacher? so why would I try? For fun? Better tak payah la, you ada passion baru try or else JANGAN. 

My batch dulu tak ada interview pun untuk major in psychology, but i dengar ura-ura yang now ada interview kot sebab ramai sangat nak masuk psychology sekarang. But tak sure la huhu sorry kalau bagi wrong info.

So long short story, I pun berjaya major in psychology. Ramai gila kawan i pun major in Psychology. Kos famous la katakan hahaha. So apa yang I belajar in Psychology? Jawapan dia banyak. Fun ke? Jawapan dia HAHAHA NO COMMENT. Just kidding la hehe of course la fun.

Just to bear in mind, degree in psychology does not make you a psychologist yet. At the end of the day, if you really aim to become a mental health advocate or psychologist, you have to sambung Master or Phd. Have to major in certain topic, baru you can call yourself pakar. 

So degree in psychology is you akan belajar semua pasal psychology. Antara core subject yang I ingat are Research Method, Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Statistics and banyak lagi. Untuk elective subject which usually korang akan kena pilih in final year nanti is Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, Community Psychology and banyak lagi. 

YUP! PSYCHOLOGY IS ALL ABOUT RESEARCH. I tak tipu, for you guys yang maybe plan nak lari dari math (macam i hahaha) korang actually tak la lari jauh sangat pun. Psychology still ada statistics. But most of the time will involves reading and reading and research and survey and reading lagi. 

Itulah Psychology.

But trust me,  SO FUN. You belajar banyak gila benda. Why? You belajar pasal human behavior. Bayangkan lah how fun is that. You learn about common sense, things yang you will see and practice in everyday life. Why people act that way and how you can relate to everything. I suka gila and I'm pretty sure yang korang will enjoy too.

Just something to add on is when you finally have a degree in psychology, please jangan limit diri korang untuk go for psychology je. But kalau korang minat, go for it. Sebab psychology is much more than that. You boleh masuk semua fields. Sebab kita belajar pasal human behavior and kita work also with people so it is so related and easy. 

My friend got into Logistics, some got into Digital Marketing and Design, Corporate Business and I got into Human Resources. See? You can go everywhere with your degree. All of us got into big company as well. Petronas? Bosch? Schlumberger?Shopee? Shell? and many more.

Jangan takut and limit yourself. Bila orang cakap, "Study psychology, oh nanti jadi cikgu kaunseling la or oh nanti jadi doktor la?' HAHA jangan blame dorang, they also will sometimes streotype kita macamtu. It's normal. I usually gelak je, nak terang panjang panjang also penat already. 

But what important is, korang tahu value korang. Korang have a big and better future ahead of you. You ambik psychology, you in a right place. Don't worry, you made a good choice.

Setakat tu je kot, korang can comment down below if nak tanya apa-apa. One more thing, FIGHTING BELAJAR ONLINE! I have been there already for setahun setengah huhu bersyukur jugak la ada pengalaman belajar physical. Kalau boleh balik UIA nanti please la try shawarma and ayam gepuk mahallah bilal, GEMPAK TERUK. Ahh rindu..sedih la, convo pun entah bila la boleh.
